The music note represents tastes in music, the plate tastes in food, the book change in general interests, the photoframe for people and loved ones, and the heart for change in personality. E.g.- one man who had recieved a heart transplant became a poet when previously had no interest in the subject and hadn't written since school.
The beginnings of the heart with the objects representing tastes and personalities that change when someone recieves a heart from another person.
As well as making clay hearts i decided to have a go at sewing one too. Instead of the promotion of organ donation route i responded to the idea that memories are also transplanted when an organ is given to someone else, especially the heart.
